SettlePact

How can we help?

Pick what you're doing for a short guide. Every deal page also shows you the next step, and what to check before you send anything.

Swap crypto with someone

  1. On SettlePact, choose Swap with a person. Enter what you send, what you get, the network, and your wallet. Their wallet is optional: they can add it when they open your link.
  2. Click Create deal link and send it to them.
  3. You both deposit within 30 minutes, to the vault address on the deal page. Pay with wallet fills in the right network, token and amount. Swapping stablecoins (USDC, USDT or DAI) and need longer? Pick up to 7 days under Time to deposit.
  4. Once both deposits arrive, you're both paid in one transaction, usually within a minute or two. If not, every deposit goes back in full, with no fee.

Fee: 0.30% per side, minimum $1.00. You don't need to keep the page open.

Instant swap

  1. Choose Instant swap, pick what you send and what you want, and where your tokens should go. Any wallet or exchange address works.
  2. Click Start instant swap, then deposit to the vault on the page.
  3. The swap runs, and the tokens go to your wallet in a moment. If it can't go through, your deposit comes back to you.

Fee: 0.40%, minimum $1.00.

Common problems

I lost the deal link

Open My deals in the browser you used: every deal you created or opened there is saved. On another device, use Find my deals there: connect the wallet you used in the deal and sign a free message. Or ask the other person: it's the same link for both of you.

I sent too much or too little

Anything over the amount goes back to you when the deal settles. In a swap with a person, up to 1% short is still accepted, and both sides are settled in the same proportion. Instant swaps and crypto for cash need the full amount: send the rest to the same address before the timer ends. From an exchange, add its withdrawal fee on top.

I used the wrong network or token

The deal only sees the token and network on its deal page, and funds sent another way may not be recoverable. Email support@settlepact.com with the deal link and your transaction, and we'll check what can be done.

The other person never paid

Nothing is released until both sides have delivered. When the deal's timer runs out, your deposit goes back to your wallet in full, with no fee.

When do I get my refund?

Once the timer runs out: 30 minutes after the deal was created, unless it was made longer (up to 7 days, between stablecoins). Crypto for cash adds 2 hours after that, so the seller has time to see the bank payment. It's sent to you automatically, and the deal page shows the exact time. Anyone can also start the refund on the blockchain, so it doesn't depend on our website.

Can I cancel a deal?

Whoever created the deal can cancel it before anyone deposits, at the bottom of the deal page, in the browser they created it in. Once money is in, the deal either completes, or refunds everyone in full when the timer ends.

My Wise payment proof was refused

Look up the message you saw in the buyer guide's problem list. The seller can still release the crypto to you while you sort it out.

Do I have to keep the page open?

No. Deposits are detected and paid out automatically, even if you close the tab.

Can SettlePact take or freeze my money?

No. A deposit sits in a vault that can only pay the wallets written into the deal, or send it back to you. Nobody, including SettlePact, can send it anywhere else.

Still stuck?

Email us with your deal link and what you see. We never ask for your seed phrase or private key: don't send them to anyone.
